Choosing a Noorani Qaida Book for Online Lessons
Check the edition, print clarity and lesson references before buying a Qaida book, so home practice matches the teacher's instructions.

The best first step when choosing a Noorani Qaida book is to ask your child's teacher which edition they use. A book that matches the lesson is usually more practical than one selected because its cover looks familiar or its description promises fast results.
Match the edition before matching the page number
Books sold under similar names can differ in layout, print size and exercise order. If the teacher says 'page six' while your copy shows a different exercise, the problem may be the edition rather than your child's understanding.
Ask for the publisher, edition details or a cover photograph before purchasing. If you already own a copy, show it to the teacher. You may be able to keep using it with clearer exercise references, but that should be agreed rather than assumed.
Check whether your child can use the page comfortably
Look at the page in the position where the child will study. Can they distinguish the printed signs without holding the book awkwardly? Is the binding easy to keep open? Are any pages missing, damaged or poorly printed? These practical checks are more useful than choosing solely by the number of pages.
When viewing a sample on a phone, remember that enlarging an image can hide how small the printed version will be. Check the physical size and sample pages where possible.
Treat colour and extra notes as supporting features
Some editions use colour or explanatory notes. Ask the teacher how those features should be used rather than guessing their purpose. A visually busy page is not automatically more helpful for a particular learner.
English or Urdu notes may help a parent follow instructions, but they do not replace the teacher listening to the child's reading. Choose explanatory material that fits the language the family and teacher can use clearly.
Paper copy or digital copy?
A paper copy can stay open while the lesson runs on the screen. A digital copy may be convenient, but switching between the call and the page on one device can interrupt the session. Try the actual setup before deciding.
Use a lawful copy from the publisher or an authorised source. Do not assume that an uploaded scan is permitted simply because it is easy to download. Ask the teacher for a suitable source instead of searching through unrelated files.
Your book-check list
- Confirm the exact edition with the teacher.
- Check print clarity, page condition and size.
- Agree how homework will identify the correct exercise.
- Test whether the book can stay visible during the call.
- Ask before buying additional books or apps.
Keep the focus on learning
Changing books repeatedly can make it harder to follow a routine. If the current copy is unsuitable, agree how to carry the child's existing work into the replacement. The goal is a usable learning resource, not a shelf of unfinished books.
You can discuss the book and starting level when enquiring about our Noorani Qaida lessons. Share what you already have before buying anything new.
